Special Education Teacher – Elementary School

We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Special Education Teacher to support students in a school-based setting in Tempe, AZ. This role focuses on providing individualized instruction and meaningful support to help students with diverse learning needs succeed academically and socially.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

• Provide differentiated instruction aligned with student needs and goals

• Monitor and document student progress in accordance with state and district requirements

• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families

• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and compliance activities

• Support inclusive practices and positive classroom environments

Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Special Education teaching certification or eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field

• School-based experience preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply)

• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
