Emergency Department Registered Nurse

We are seeking a high-energy Registered Nurse to join our night-shift Emergency Department team. This role is designed for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled in triage, rapid assessment, and crisis management during critical overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Rapid Assessment & Triage: Efficiently evaluate incoming patients to prioritize care based on acuity and injury severity.
• Critical Interventions: Administer life-saving medications, initiate IV access, and assist with emergency procedures such as resuscitations and stabilizing trauma patients.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Partner closely with emergency physicians, specialists, and paramedics to ensure seamless transitions of care.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, real-time records of patient assessments and interventions within the Electronic Health Record (EHR). 

Schedule & Weekend Rotation

• Shift: Standard 12-hour night shifts (typically 19:00 – 07:00).
• Weekend Commitment: This position requires a rotating weekend schedule, typically involving 1 to 2 weekends per 4-week block. 

Qualifications

• Licensure: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS are required; PALS and TNCC are highly preferred.
• Skills: Strong critical thinking, emotional resilience, and the ability to remain calm under extreme pressure.
