School Nurse RN

BlueCloud Staffing is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide district-wide school nursing services in Lebanon, NH.

This part-time role offers flexibility (2–3 days per week) while allowing you to make a meaningful impact supporting students across multiple school buildings within the district.

Position Overview

The School Nurse RN will provide comprehensive health services to students, collaborate with school staff, and ensure compliance with state and district health regulations. This position may rotate between elementary, middle, and/or high school settings depending on district needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RN seeking flexibility while maintaining a consistent school-based schedule.

Essential Responsibilities

Student Health Services

• Provide direct nursing care and health assessments to students

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and district policy

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs)

• Support students with IEP and 504-related medical needs

• Monitor chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, seizure disorders, and severe allergies

• Conduct health screenings as required

Emergency & Crisis Response

• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid

• Maintain emergency action plans and ensure compliance with safety protocols

• Coordinate with EMS when necessary

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate and confidential student health records

• Ensure compliance with New Hampshire Department of Education and Department of Health regulations

• Track medication logs and required health documentation

Collaboration & Communication

• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student health

• Collaborate with building administrators, special education teams, and faculty

• Participate in student support meetings as needed

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted New Hampshire RN license (required)

• Current CPR/BLS certification

• School nursing, pediatric, or community health experience preferred

• Strong assessment and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently across multiple school sites

• Reliable transportation (if rotating between buildings)
