Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic team. This dual-role position requires proficiency in both CT and X-ray modalities to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who can work independently while maintaining seamless collaboration with various hospital departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Multimodal Imaging: Perform a wide range of diagnostic X-ray and Computed Tomography (CT) procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Clinical Procedures: Demonstrate proficiency in venipuncture and the administration of IV contrast agents, including monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
- Patient Care: Prepare and position patients for exams, providing clear explanations to reduce anxiety and ensure safety.
- Operational Independence: Work autonomously to manage caseloads, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain a high standard of image quality control.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Effectively communicate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to coordinate patient flow and specialized procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certification: Active ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications.
- Licensure: Current California State Licensure (CRT).
- Certifications: Valid California Venipuncture Certification and BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association.
- Skills: Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, radiation safety (ALARA), and proficiency with PACS/RIS systems.
