Psychology Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse to join our multidisciplinary behavioral health team. This role focuses on “team nursing” models, requiring close collaboration with physicians and social workers to ensure comprehensive patient care and seamless discharge planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborative Care: Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings with physicians to develop and adjust patient treatment plans.
• Discharge Coordination: Partner with social workers to facilitate safe and effective discharge transitions and community resource mapping.
• Medication & Documentation: Utilize Omnicell for secure medication management and EPIC for all electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation.
• Patient Management: Provide specialized psychiatric nursing care within a high-acuity behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a Psychiatric/Behavioral Health environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Prior experience using EPIC and Omnicell systems is required.
• Skills: Strong communication skills for team-based nursing; IV certification is not required for this position.
