Intensive Care Unit RN

• Medication Administration: Administer complex medications, titrate vasoactive drips, and follow strict protocols for safe delivery.

• Emergency Response: Rapidly respond to medical emergencies, perform CPR, and initiate ACLS protocols.

• Care Planning: Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other disciplines.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate, clear, and concise patient records and reports.

• Patient & Family Support: Provide education, emotional support, and communication between the patient, family, and care team. 

• Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive head-to-toe assessments, monitor vital signs, interpret lab results, and identify subtle changes in patient status.
• Equipment Management: Set up, operate, and monitor advanced life support equipment, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and invasive lines.

• Meets all required licensure and/or certifications necessary for Registered Nurses
Two years acute care nursing experience
• BLS/ACLS certification required on file in Department of Education
• NIHSS certification, as required for acute care facilities
*Must have 1 year min Travel Experience. *Must be willing to Float to PCU as needed.
