Interventional Radiology Technician

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist for a travel contract. This role requires technical expertise in assisting with a broad range of angiography examinations and minimally invasive procedures. The ideal candidate is highly proficient with GE Innova imaging systems and possesses the clinical confidence to act as a primary assistant during complex interventions.
Schedule & Shift Details
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts.
- Standard Work Week: 40 hours per week.
On-Call Requirements
Participation in the departmental on-call rotation is required, consisting of:
- One weekday per week.
- Every third weekend.
Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a relevant clinical or specialty setting is preferred.
- Skills: Ability to manage scheduled daily tasks effectively while remaining responsive to on-call emergency needs.
- Active RT(ARRT) certification
- Mastery of sterile technique and knowledge of IR procedural steps (e.g., access, wire/catheter management)
