We are seeking an experienced Travel RN for a high-acuity contract in our Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This role requires a clinician who is highly proficient in interventional procedures and committed to a rigorous on-call rotation. Candidates must be fully prepared to meet the extensive call requirements listed below before applying.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Procedural Nursing: Provide expert care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including STEMI management.
  • Monitoring & Sedation: Monitor patient hemodynamics and manage moderate sedation in accordance with 2026 clinical protocols.
  • Emergency Response: Provide rapid-response support for emergency call-back cases.

Schedule & Shift Details

  • Format: Four 10-hour shifts per week.
  • Status: Traveler / Contract.

Mandatory On-Call Requirements

  • Monthly Commitment: 10 days of on-call coverage per month.
  • Weekend Commitment: 4 of those call days must be scheduled on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
  • Note: Reliable response times for emergency call-backs are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Experience: Previous Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) experience is required.
  • Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) are mandatory.
