Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technologist to join our procedural team. In this role, you will act as the primary first assist to physicians during complex cardiac, vascular, and neurological interventions. This position requires high-level technical proficiency, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to a rigorous on-call rotation. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Procedural Support: Scrub and monitor for cardiac, vascular, interventional radiology (IR), and interventional neurology procedures.
  • Clinical Care: Manage access sites and patient symptoms, including the safe removal of sheaths.
  • Patient Coordination: Assist with the admission, recovery, and discharge of both in-patients and out-patients; manage procedure scheduling.
  • Physician Assistance: Serve as the first assistant to physicians, maintaining a high standard of clinical support in a fast-paced environment. 

Schedule & Call Requirements

  • Shift: Four 10-hour shifts per week (06:30 – 17:00).
  • On-Call: Mandatory participation in the emergency after-hours call rotation. Currently, a minimum of 15 call shifts per month is required. 

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL), Interventional Radiology, and Interventional Neurology is required.
  • Licensure: Priority will be given to candidates holding a New Jersey ARRT license.
  • Skills: Must be proficient in scrubbing and monitoring diverse interventional cases and capable of working independently under pressure.
